Hi, I am working with 3 computers and have 3 screens front of me I don't want to buy something to switch the keyboards and mouses, I heard ultramon can do it, I just want use 1 keyboard and 1 mouse for all 3 computers, so that when I go on the left side of middle screen it will go on the left computer screen, a friend told me that ultramon can do it ... Is it possible, and if yes please let me know how in the setting I'm using vista ultimate sp1 on all 3 comps Thanks for help

I could be wrong but I don't believe that is how it works. There are some apps out there that will let you control another comp from your keyboard over a network. (Just like your keyboard was connected to it) I don't think that is what UM was meant for. It is for multiple monitors, not multiple systems.

If I am wrong about that sorry!

There should be plenty of open source software based keyboar/mouse "switches" available at www.sourceforge.net but you are probably better off with a cheap KVM switch. Since we are living in 2008 now there are KVM switches that allow you to switch by hitting scroll lock in a special way (mine does that). Good luck!

try out synergy. it does exactly what you want. watch this video http://cnettv.cnet.com/using-synergy/9742-1_53-50003392.html on cnet on how to use it, its very easy. the only difference is you must make more setups for monitors
