When I first installed the trial versio of UltraMon, it replaced the default taskbar with its self, and it placed a single height task bar on my second monitor. Now, about a week later, I have two task bars on my primary monitor...my default windows task bar (which is double height and it has the start button, the quick launch and the date/time and running tasks) and a second task bar (ultramon) on top of it that has my running applications. Here is my information in the "About UltraMon" screen: 2 monitors Current desktop: 2592x1172 (-1440,0 - 1152,1172)
Monitor 1 - Plug and Play Monitor: Settings: 1440x900, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: -1440,272 - 0,1172. Workspace: -1440,272 - 0,1142 Video card: NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor1
Monitor 2 - Plug and Play Monitor (primary): Settings: 1152x864, 32-bit color, 75 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: 0,0 - 1152,864. Workspace: 0,0 - 1152,774 Video card: NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor3
I am running verion 2.7.1 on Windows XP Professional on a Dell Lattitude D620. The strange part is I am running the same thing on my other Dell D600 laptop and it is having no problems... Any help on this? I would really like to purchase this application, but if this is the way it works, I can't consider it. Ed

To remove the UltraMon taskbar on the primary monitor, right-click it and select Close from the menu. The main taskbar will then again show the tasks running on the primary monitor.
