Not sure of this is an ultramon problem.
When a video is moved from an lcd monitor (1600x1200) to a tv (1024x768) - using "Move to Monitor..." the image splits and cannot be maximized to the new screen size. WMP shows 1 and 1/2 video screens.

Do you have the same problem when moving the window to the other monitor manually?

Yes. As is dragged from one to another, the video image splits into 2 - or 1 an extra half to the right.

This sounds like an issue with video overlays, but in my experience WMP handles this correctly.
Make sure you have the latest version of WMP, updating the video card drivers might also be worth a try. UltraMon can't help with this though.
