I've been using Ultramon for a while, and I recently decided I wanted to switch which of my two monitors was the primarary monitor due to color differences. I did everything I thought I should do in Windows and Ultramon, but I kep getting both task bars on one monitor, and the non-primary one had the start bar. I eventually uninstalled and reinstalled Ultramon, which seemed to work until today. Today when I cam in, it was back to having the two bars on one monitor with the wrong one having the start bar. The only thing I can think is that I used the laptop out of the docking station.
What can I do to get the software to recognize the monitor setup I have consistently?

This is getting worse. I uninstalled and reinstalled again, and this time it did not fix the problem. I STILL have both task bars on the same monitor, with the start bar showing with the tasks on the non-primary monitor.
This is worse than not having Ultramon....HELP!

Resetting the Smart Taskbar configuration should fix the problem, see Smart Taskbar: missing taskbar or taskbar shows tasks from wrong monitor for details.
Changing the primary monitor on laptops causes the monitor numbers to get changed, which causes problems for the Smart Taskbar. This is no longer an issue with the 3.0 beta though, due to the Smart Taskbar getting configured automatically.
