I have a new Dell M6300 Laptop with a second LCD attached. When windows starts, I just get a blank wallpaper. I have to right click on UltraMon click on wallpaper click on none, then default, apply to get my wallpaper to appear. I have a different jpg image set for each monitor.
I am running UltraMon 2.7.1 on a Windows XP machine with a NVIDIA Quadro FX 3600M video card.

If you have the Nvidia nView Desktop Manager enabled, try if disabling it fixes the problem. Nvidia can also manage wallpapers, and will interfere with UltraMon if the feature is enabled.

After a reboot, what's the wallpaper selected under Control Panel > Display > Desktop?

I was able to resolve the issue. I am not sure if I changes something or the driver update corrected the issue but it is now working! Thank for trying to help.
