I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2 with a dual monitor setup (both using DVI) and am connecting a third monitor using a Tritton SEE2 USB 2.0 VGA Video Adapter (analog): http://www.trittontechnologies.com/products/TRIUV100.htm
I'm using the UltraMon utility to manage all three monitors. http://realtimesoft.com/ultramon/
I'm only having issues using the third monitor with the Tritton adapter. Sometimes when I attempt to close a window by clicking the X in the upper right corner, the system immediately does a hard reboot (as if a hardware reset button had been pressed).
I don't know if it's the USB Video Adapter software (version 7.5.0.0601.1101) or the UltraMon utility (version 2.7.1.0) or if the two programs have issues running together, or if some other installed software could be interfering. I'm also not sure how to go about troubleshooting the problem so I figured I'd check here first to see if this was a known problem.
Thanks...

Sounds like an issue with the driver for the USB video card. To see which driver caused the crash, go to Control Panel > System > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings and uncheck 'Automatically restart'. The name of the driver should then be listed on the crash screen.

'Automatically restart' was already unchecked. Is there another way to figure out what's causing the reboot?

Unfortunately I don't know why you wouldn't get the crash screen with the option disabled. To check if the issue is related to UltraMon, try if you still have the problem without UltraMon running or installed.
