Forums -> UltraMon™ -> UltraMon Bubble Screensaver Problem

When I'm viewing the Screen Saver Settings tab in Vista's Personalization applet, the bubbles work as I would expect, i.e., they float over whatever wallpaper happens to be in place. But when I click on Preview (or whenever the screen saver kicks in after the timeout period) the wallpaper is blocked by a solid color. I'm not thrilled by this difference. What gives?

the problem is that there is an options tab which allows you to set the background color. This needs to not control for this screen saver.

Thanks, but how do I tell it not to use a background color. There seems to be no option to shut it off.

Running this screen saver via UltraMon won't work, UltraMon always runs screen savers above a solid background.

This isn't a problem though as Bubbles has native multi-monitor support, just select it as your screen saver in Control Panel > Personalization instead of running it via UltraMon.

Too bad. The effect is really nice when the bubbles run over the current wallpaper. How about making this a wish list item if you think it's worth the effort?

Why not run the screen saver directly instead of via UltraMon? This will work fine, you don't need to use UltraMon for the screen saver.
