I'm using UltraMon (3.02 beta) with my HP laptop [w/nvidia GeForce 7150M graphics] and a Samsung SyncMaster 205BW (@1680x1050) as my second monitor (connected to my HP QuickDock port replicator)
THANKS UltraMon for letting my easily setup an "over and under" monitor layout when docked!
Here's the problem though: when my computer "wakes up" from power saving mode the external monitor is 'fuzzy' and looks like the resolution has reset to some "non-native" resolution. It could also be a "scaling" issue, since most of the taskbar is off the bottom of the monitor.
All of the device settings show that the monitor should be at 1680x1050. Switching the resolution on that monitor then switching back doesn't seem to make a difference. Powering off the monitor and back on doesn't seem to make a difference.
Only a reboot returns the external monitor to its correct settings.
Suggestions?

UPDATE: Still need help... but if the system goes into "sleep" (close lid), the external monitor comes back OK.
Maybe some adjustments in my power settings???

it has something to do with the resolution being wrong. I frequently have to hit the refresh button on my monitor which fixes it, or reset to default the position settings. if it could be fixed, that'd be awesome, but most monitors have a quick and easy workaround.

Maybe an issue with the video card driver, I would recommend installing the latest driver. Seems unlikely that this would be related to UltraMon.

I'm NOT blaming UltraMon Christian... I just never noticed this problem until I had the ability to easily configure a multi-monitor setup!
I think it is definitely a driver issue: the software settings say I'm @ 60Hz BUT the monitor itself thinks its @ 65Hz (no wonder its "fuzzy")
