I don't seem to be able to move quick start icons to the secondary monitor taskbar. help, please.

You'll need UltraMon 3 to add toolbars to the UltraMon taskbars, you could then use something like True Launch Bar on the secondary monitor. Unfortunately the regular Quick Launch toolbar isn't compatible with UltraMon.
