TY, hope it fixes them Vista Glitches many inc myself get with items on desktop getting messed up and also messing with the Sidebar.
It will take days to test as if it does not mess up on 1st enable it can switch back and forth all day so many reboots will be needed to test.
Also I have had no issues switching it the way you told me but that way defeats the purpose of your App as its basically using the Nvidia method not your App's.

Seems great so far. Up until the upgrade I had pretty much daily Ultramon crashes, none since (yet).
Well done Christian, and thanks for the release.

Nothing is fixed for me in this build.
There is still 1 MAJOR Vista glitch and its caused by Switching the 2nd Monitor ON.
If it goes well 1st time you can do it 1000x on that uptime, the next Reboot its a gamble if it works again or totally trashes the Vista sidebar/desktop and other weird things appearing on the screen inc large square black holes.
I can switch it the other way as Author told me to do and I have had to do for lifetime of this APP in Vista.
I may aswell use the Nvidia CP instead TBH.

Unfortunately I don't know what might cause this, I haven't been able to reproduce this issue so far. Let me know if you find out anything else, for example it only happens if another application is running as well, etc.
As a workaround, you could create a display profile which enables both monitors, display profiles can be applied from the UltraMon menu, via shortcut or hotkey.

Thanks for reply.
I will continue to switch it the long way using your console which basically is the Windows/Nvidia console, that way it will work 100% of the time.
There is nothing running when it messes up, it is 100% definitely the option to Enable 2nd Monitor that causes it.
Its a major pain and I know others here have reported it but its hard to describe, I will need take screens captures next time but something do not appear on the screen captures like the cursor which simply goes into Vista Active Mode (blue animated circle).

Hi,
just installed 3.0.3 and on launching get the following: "Ultramon encountered a fatal error and will exit. Version: 3.0.3 OS: 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 x32 Source file: .\MultimonDUI.cpp Line: 2807 Return value: 0 Last error: 1456"
Tried running the install again after reboot and 'repairing' the install, but still get the same error. Any idea on how to resolve this.
Cheers, Scott

Whoops - just read further in the forum and found the post regarding the mirror driver, which looks to be the same error. Reran the install and selected to install the mirror option and all works now.
Thanks, Scott
