After the installation of 3.0.3 my nVidia Driver (geforce 6600) says goodbye... a full reinstall is the only option to restore.
How is that posibble?

Seems unlikely that this would be related to UltraMon, 3.0.3 doesn't install any drivers which might interfere with the display driver.
I also haven't had any issues on both of my systems with Nvidia video cards.
