my current set up is my dell 13.1 laptop with extended desktop to a NEC 17 inch monitor. I run ultramon and they work flawlessly. this is for primarily business use, not very graphic intensive.
i am currently considering a major upgrade: a brandnew laptop and two 20" inch monitor. I have done search on matrox's dualhead or triplehead and the general consensus is that they are not compatible with ultramon.
i am looking at the possibility of using a USB external video card. my question is:
1. have anyone use this set up, is this setup compatible with ultramon?
2. do i end up with just 2 monitors (laptop monitor not used) or i can use all three monitors?
3. what brand of external video card should i get?
