I'm using the new UltraMon 3.03 on Vista x64 with dual screens.
If I have a window on the primary monitor that isn't maximized, and click "Move to other monitor" (either the button in the top right corner or via the system menu button top left), then the result is that the window moves but is resized to fill the screen. It isn't in maximized state, but it is resized to be the same as maximized.
If the same window is on the secondary display and I click to move it to the primary, this bug does not occur. It only occurs if the window starts on the primary display.
Anyone else seeing this?
David.

Haven't seen this myself so far, please post the system information from UltraMon's About dialog (UltraMon menu > About).
Also let me know which resize mode you're using, proportional or to fit, the option is under UltraMon Options > General.

Thanks for the response Christian.
System information:
2 monitors Current desktop: 2560x1024 (-1280,0 - 1280,1024)
Monitor 1 - Generic PnP Monitor: Settings: 1280x1024, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: -1280,0 - 0,1024. Workspace: -1280,0 - 0,994 Video card: ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0
Monitor 2 - Generic PnP Monitor (primary): Settings: 1280x1024, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: 0,0 - 1280,1024. Workspace: 0,0 - 1280,964 Video card: ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0
Under Options > General, I have resize mode "proportional". However, both monitors are running at the same resolution.

Does this happen with all applications, for example also with Notepad?
I tested with Notepad on a similar setup (two monitors at 1024x768, #2 as primary, #1 to the left of #2), but haven't noticed any problems.

What other software are you running? Anything which might affect window positioning, a video card utility or something like this?

Nothing I can think of. This didn't happen in the previous beta. I'll uninstall and reinstall Ultramon to see if it makes a difference.

OK reinstalling fixed it. I should have tried that first before posting. Sorry about that.

Interestingly, I had the same problem with 3.0.4 as I did with 3.0.3. I had to uninstall, reboot Vista x64, then install UltraMon again.

Make sure you reboot the system after doing an upgrade, I don't know what else might cause this.
