Hi
I would like to know if there is a way to force all applications opened from MONITOR_PRIMARY to open on MONITOR_PRIMARY, no matter if it was last closed on another monitor, and while using switch primary.
Eg. I open Firefox on MONITOR_1_PRIMARY Then I exit Firefox still on MONITOR_1_PRIMARY.
I then switch Primary to MONITOR_2. Then I open firefox from MONITOR_2_PRIMARY, but firefox opens on MONITOR_1_SECONDARY where it was last closed (while MONITOR_1 was Primary though).
I just want to be able to switch primary between two monitors and force applications to always open on whatever one is PRIMARY.

UltraMon can't do this for all applications. To do this on a per-application basis, right-click the application's shortcut, select Properties, select the UltraMon - Window tab, then set Monitor to Primary Monitor.

Hi, thanks.
I'm having a problem I can't work out, which is kind of similar.
I have one program installed that sits on the desktop (it's called rocketdock). When I use 'switchprimary', rocketdock doesn't move to the new primary monitor, as I would like.
So, is there a way I can manage this to work?
I tried doing it in the properties of it's shortcut in my start menu:
-> Start -> right click Rocket Dock shortcut -> Properties -> select 'Ultramon - Window' tab -> check box for 'use custom settings' -> Fill in fields as follows: -Show: Normal -On Monitor: Primary Monitor -select OK
But RocketDock doesn't move to the new primary monitor.
So is it possible to make selected programs already/always running to always be positioned on whatever is the PRIMARY MONITOR - automatically moving when SwitchPrimary is activated?

UltraMon doesn't support this, the application can only be positioned during launch, not when it's already running.
