I find it interesting that ATI's 'dual monitor' card does not work under Win2K. The most interesting part of all, is after wading through their support pages for a couple hours, getting new drivers etc, ther was NO MENTION of the limitation inherent in Win2K that limits the dual head card.
It is distressing to me that the company is misleading potential (and existing) customers. Thanks to all here for the info, particularly to realtimesoft. I see now that it is just as much MS' fault as ATI's.
Has anyone had any luck talking to MS or ATI support to get an approximate timeline for implementation of TRUE multimon support under 2K?
Or am I going to have to drop back to win98? Perhaps I should mail Win2K back to MS and the VE back to ATI and go for Matrox+Pirated WinXP. Heh.
