I just got off the phone with Matrox Tech support, and they tell me they can't support my needs with their software, but UltraMon looks like it can. They wouldn't say if UltraMon would work with my card at all. It's a little less than I expected considering how much I paid for the card. Here is what I need and would like to know about, if anyone would be so kind as to help me out with experience, information or answers:
I would like to use my Quad DVI Matrox M-9140 LP to display two independent monitors and mirror the second monitor to a third monitor in Windows 2000. Does the non-beta version support this card in this configuration? It needs to be reliable and without an internet connection. It will be used to display vital and sensitive information 24 hours per day, about 6 months per year.
Thank you for your time.

That will work fine, assuming the Windows 2000 driver for the card supports regular extended desktop mode (also called independent displays mode by Matrox).
Regarding reliability: I haven't done 24/7 testing with the mirroring feature, but am not aware of any resource leak issues. I would recommend testing this yourself with the trial version if possible, the mirroring process is UMMirrorClient.exe.
The pre-3.0.3 version of mirroring has a couple of drawing issues, mainly with icons not getting drawn completely. This is no longer an issue with the new mirroring feature in 3.0.3.
UltraMon doesn't require an Internet connection (also not for setup or license verification).
