I have been having a couple of problems.
1. I like to game on monitor 1 and have Vista sidebar and yahoo widgets on monitor 2. When I launch a game, the yahoo widgets (speedfan and sys monitor widgets), always jump behind the game where they can't be seen.
2. Some of my steam games won't launch while ultramon is loaded. Portal is one of these.
I am running UltraMon version 3.0.3 Beta, but this also happened with previous versions.
Love UltraMon, but wish I could resolve these minor problems.

UltraMon can't help with the first issue, for the second issue please try if disabling window buttons and/or menu commands for the game via UltraMon Options > Compatibility fixes the problem.

1: objects positions are relative to the TOP-LEFT (0,0) of the primary monitor. So if the 2nd monitor is on the RIGHT and something changes the primary (LEFT) monitor's resolution, the objects to the right will all shift accordingly.
The only real solution I've found is to put any secondary monitors to the LEFT of the primary... or at least make the computer think that's how they're arranged. Doing that has its own drawbacks however since you'll instinctively want to move your mouse to the right to get to the monitor that's physically on the right. But if the computer thinks it's on the left you'll run into the side of your screen. So i wrote this using AutoHotKey to wrap the mouse from the right-hand edge of the primary to the left hand edge of what the computer thinks is the left-most edge of the left-most monitor. It's not seemless though as windows aren't drawn across that border.
2: what are the games doing exactly? crash message? closing without error? etc...
