I have 2 monitors (which is why I use Ultramon). My primary monitor is a 24" widescreen (1920x1200) and my secondary is a 15" (1024x768) which I mainly use for the Start Menu, monitoring software, messaging, email etc.
However, it seems that the Start Menu uses the resolution of the primary monitor when determining how many items will fit onscreen.
(Hypothetical) Example: When on my main monitor I have 3 rows in my Start Menu, the first 2 have 50 items, the second has 12. If I now move the bar over the the secondary 15" monitor, All I can see is the first ~30 of the first to rows and the 12 on the third row.
This causes me to be forced to move the Menu over to the 24" monitor everytime I need something in that menu what is out of screen.
I hope this is sufficient to describes the problem :)

UltraMon can't help with this, would need to be fixed in Windows.
