I have 3 - 19” wide monitors and I want to make them act like one monitor. So if I launch an application the application see the one and only monitor. Or should I say I would like my 1440x900 act like a 4320x900. Is this possible or should I just give it up? With 2 video cards on the PC is it really possible?

UltraMon can't do this, you would need a video card with support for span mode across 3 monitors, for example the Matrox Parhelia.
