I tried to uninstall Ultramon 2.7.1 and install the newe version,but I get with both data the message The windows installer service could not be accessed.
What am I doing wrong,this service is on.I have Vista 64 bit. Could you please help me out.

I would try if restarting the system fixes the problem, if that doesn't help, make sure you're logged in as administrator.

Thanks for the answer. Ive already tried that, additionally I deactivated UAC. Another suggestion?

Unfortunately I don't know what else you could try, I would recommend contacting Microsoft Support.
