I am running 3.0.3 on 2008 which is not supported but I did find a bug. It would be great if someone could tell me if this is a problem on other OSes.
I often have 20 windows open and use remote desktop very often for servers and what not. Every now and then I need to RDP into my workstation from a user’s computer with only a single screen. This of course rearranges my desktop icons to fit the resolution of the user. Then when I get back to my office I can easily use restore my icons using Ultramon™.
The other day this stopped working correctly. Now I have an icon that is a complete bully. No matter where I move icon b, icon a will take his place regardless of the “Save Now” in Ultramon™. Needless to say icon b is getting pretty pissed. The original icons where a folder and a shortcut to a custom perfmon. This bug can however be reproduced by creating two new folders on my desktop; New Folder & New Folder_ABC. I create these folders and put them on different monitors so there won’t be any trouble. Then I pressed save now in Ultramon™ and clicked restore now. The next thing I know New Folder_ABC runs over to the other monitor, takes New Folder’s location and pushes New Folder down below him. You can repeat the process and watch New Folder_ABC torment New Folder by repeatedly pressing save now and restore now.
To keep New Folder save I have renamed him New Folderr and now everything works as expected.
Thanks for the great product!

This seems to be a bug in Vista, which causes problems for UltraMon if icons have similar names. I'm going to look for a workaround for this in one of the next releases.
Server 2008 is supported, as far as UltraMon is concerned it's the same as Vista.
