Hi there

I play WoW and i play it full screen window mode as i like to have WoW on my secondary screen and leave my primary for other stuff.

I find that my mouse sometimes flicks to the other screen randomly so i am attempting to lock it to the WoW screen. this works wonders as the mouse stays on the wow screen however, whenever i try and "turn" left using the mouse (left or right click drag left) i dont move at all. it works fine going right, just not left.

If i play WoW on the primary monitor and lock it in the same way it rotates both ways fine.

My primary screen is on the left and my secondary is on the right.

Both are Dell 24" screens and i am running a 8800GTX.

any ideas why this maybe happening/how to get around it?

Many thanks
Jon

I'm not sure what might cause this, one thing you could test is to move the secondary monitor to the left of the primary and see what happens.

hi there

this defo works.. if i switch the primary monitor to the right screen and the secondary to the left then i have no problems locking the mouse to the WoW window.

However, this results in the start button being on the right screen which puts it in logically the wrong place and every window popping on the right screen (msn etc etc) which means i miss stuff compared to when i use WoW on the secondary monitor and stuff popping on the primary screen.

any ideas?
Many Thanks
Jon

My guess would be that this is due to something WoW does, maybe it doesn't like mouse coordinates larger than the resolution of the primary monitor.

If the secondary is to the left of the primary, x coordinates are less than zero.
