I have a vista media pc that I need to output HDMI at 1080p and also component HD would mirror work with 2 settings. With the current card and driver when I set it to higher resolution it sets the clone monitor to a much lower res. Would I need 2 cards? Will it work with UltraMon?

Only if the video card can output both HDMI and Component at the same time, UltraMon by itself can't enable this.
