Things have been working well but then I had to reload my video driver Mobile Intel 965 Express

After installation the set up worked fine with both the Tablet PC and the Monitor working at the correct resolutions.

But today I cannot get extended mode to work. Neither Ultramon nor Intel's display control windows can enable the second monitor. It was displaying a copy on the second monitor but showing it was in single display mode.

I just selected dual clone displays on the Intel interface. This worked. Then I selected an Extended profile and that work.

So I no longer have a problem but I did (not) enjoy a frustrating 30 minutes.

Should have said the Intel driver is 7.15.10.1554

I'm not sure what might have caused this, but if the Intel software also couldn't enable the monitor it's unlikely that this was an issue with UltraMon.

Cannot get attached Dell monitor to act separately from laptop monitor even though I have mirroring turned off. This was working fine then I rebooted at the end of the day and now it's not keeping 2nd monitor enabled. Any suggestions?

Jane, what happens if you enable the monitor via UltraMon menu > Display Settings?
