I have a Dell Latitude C810 running Win2000.
The C810 has a geforce2go 32mb w/twinview.

Before using this laptop I used a Dell Inspiron 8100 running WinME. (also has geforce2go) I loved the speed of the dual desktops (and the independant resolution).

Well on my system under Win2000 I cant get the independant resolutions with dual monitors.

I can clone my main display and change the resolution on the second, but I can not make 2 separate displays and still have independant resolution. Is there any way around this problem?

(on the WinME system:
Primary= 1600x1200
External= 1024x768
Win2000
Best I can do is Display = 2048x768)

Nvidia TwinView cards don't have Windows 2000 drivers with true multi-monitor support , see the FAQ for details.

To be able to use different resolutions, you can either get a PCMCIA video card for the external monitor (see the FAQ for details), or install Windows XP.
