Hi,
I have a problem with my desktop wallpaper every Windows start up. I'm using Ultramon 3.0.3 with 19" non-wide and 19" widescreen.
I set my 19" non-wide as primary and wide as secondary. I set a different wallpaper on each monitor using Ultramon, but then everytime on Windows boot up, the wallpaper become messed up, such as they are not in the correct position on each monitor. I could post a link for the screenshot showing what I meant by messed up if I'm allowed to give a link.
Any idea what I did wrong here?
Cheers

I'm not sure what would cause this, some things you can check:
- if you go to Display Properties > Desktop, is Position still set to Tile?
- go to UltraMon menu > Wallpaper, select a different wallpaper or (None), then select the original wallpaper again and hit Apply. Does this fix the problem?

The position always set to Tile.
This happens always only every windows boot up, so whenever I log on into Windows, the wallpaper messed up, however it can be fixed by set the wallpaper again on Ultramon, which I don't want it because could not be bothered doing it every Windows startup.
The position on "Display" properties always on Tile even before I restart/shutdown and after Windows startup. The position on Ultramon Wallpapers stay the same as well.
I tried to drag the monitor on Display properties to the default position which is monitor 1 on the left, monitor 2 on the right (currently my setting is monitor 2 on the left, monitor 1 on the right)
But that doesn't fix the problem at all. Does anyone are having the same problem as mine? Also whenever I shutdown/restart my computer, my 2nd monitor is turn to black screen while my primary monitor have a picture of Windows logging off or etc, but then I still can move my mouse cursor to the 2nd monitor, is it suppose to be like that?
Cheers and thanks for the reply Chris.

Another post
I should ask this to make easier.
Does everyone who use Wallpaper feature from Ultramon are having their desktop wallpapers position stay just fine or messed up?
Hoping an answer from Ultramon's users would be great >.<

Do you have another application installed which manages wallpapers, for example the Nvidia nView Desktop Manager? That might cause problems with the wallpaper.
So far I've had no problems with the wallpaper on Windows XP with UltraMon 3.0.3.
Regarding shutdown: this is normal behavior, gets handled by Windows, UltraMon is no longer running at this point.

My Nvidia nView already disabled. I only used it once but didn't use it again since it is not user friendly.
So your wallpaper stay on their respective monitor with their normal resolution position that you set whenever on Windows startup?
This is weird >.<

I fixed it, turn out to be another wallpaper changer software that have a clash with Ultramon.
I didn't notice it will clash even though I disabled the software.
Cheers for the support Chris
