Hello
I want to run 8-12 monitors by one PC.
Viewing videos (non-HD) in independent "multi-videos" or "stretched" mode.
I'm looking for the cheapest way to do so (hardware - software)..
Thanks for your help and time.

For the hardware you could get a couple of quad (4-monitor) video cards (Nvidia Quadro NVS, ATI FireMV, several Matrox cards).
I'm not sure what would be the best software for handling video playback.

I've read in MATROX only 2 cards can be run together (8 monitors).
As for nvidia or ati I thought I can add a ordinary PCI card along with the PCI-Express slots and run them under one driver using VideoSaver.

Mixing PCI and PCIe cards worked fine for me with Quadro NVS cards, but I had problems when trying this with two ATI FireMV cards. Might have been a driver issue, so it's possible this is no longer a problem.
VideoSaver could be used to either play one instance of the video on each monitor, or stretch the video across all monitors, but performance might be an issue with 8 or more monitors.
