Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Toolbars in 2nd Monitor Smart Taskbar not functioning

I using Vista SP1 64-bit Business with dual monitors on an nVidia 8800 GTX and UltraMon 3.0.4 x64

On the second monitor Taskbar, if I turn on the Links and/or the Address toolbar, they appear. However, nothing will activate from them. My links from IE7 show up, but clicking on them does nothing. If I type in a URL in the Address bar and click on the go arrow, nothing happens.

I gotta be doing something wrong; however, I haven't figured it out yet.

Same issue here on 32-bit. Tried a number of different things but can't get the toolbar's to work.

Also, it would seem "more normal" if the Task Manager window would open on the monitor for which it was activated via the task bar. As it is now, if the Task Manager is activated from the task bar on monitor 2, it opens on monitor 1.

I notice one other thing on my machine. When the address bar loads on the second taskbar, it's not "activated" meaning I can't click in the address bar text field to enter an address. I have to press the arrow button that shows the address bar history then I'm able to enter an address using the keyboard.

Unfortunately most of the Microsoft toolbars don't work with UltraMon, currently I don't see a fix for this.

What works fine is True Launch Bar.

I have also noticed that the links toolbar does not function and the windows media player toolbar does not show up on the smart taskbar.

If you are able to figure out a way to get those working I would also love to have an option to add a "New Toolbar..." to the smart taskbar. I use custom folders as toolbars on my main taskbar and I would like to have this option with my 2nd monitor.

Keep up the good work, you have a great product!
