I' am using Windows Vista x64 and I have one monitor and one beamer connected to the pc. I' am using UltraMon to switch between the beamer and the monitor. My question is now, is it possible to load the monitor profile on startup so I don't have to startup the beamer when I just want to use the monitor?

Would you want to be able to turn on the beamer later on in the same session? If yes, you'll probably need to have it turned on when starting the system, but this depends on how the video card driver handles this.

That's not the problem, the beamer works even if i turn it on after I started the pc. The problem ist the following. I use the pc as a mediacenter for watching movies or listening to music. If i want to watch a movie I use the beamer and if i want to listen to music I use the LCD monitor.
The Problem is now that everytime when I just want to listen to music, I have to turn on the beamer so that I can login an switch to the LCD monitor.

If you haven't configured a password, you could create an UltraMon display profile and assign a hotkey to it, this way you could boot the system, then press the hotkey to enable the monitor.
Otherwise I don't see a way to do this, while you can configure a profile to get applied at startup, it's always the same profile, either beamer or monitor.

I have allready assigned a hotkey, but the problem ist I have to login (domain) on the pc before I can apply the profile and it seems that vista is blocking the login dialog if no Display is active so I cannot even try to login "blind".
