I've recently installed UltraMon. Worked fine, untill I restarted my pc. Now the icons in my taskbar as well as some other things (like some websites) on my primary screen look very low-res. The weird thing is that for instance the icons on my desktop look like they are on a 1280x1024 resolution. That's also what UltraMon, ATI catalyst control center and windows settings are saying. I've re-installed my ati-drives, re-installed ultramon and offcourse checked the resolution, but nothing works.

If you're using UltraMon 3.0.2 or earlier, that might be related to the mirroring feature. Removing the mirroring feature or upgrading to 3.0.4 should fix the problem.
You can remove the mirroring feature via Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, select UltraMon, click on Change, then deselect the mirroring feature on the Customize Installation screen.

Well, I tried your suggestion. It didn't work. I think it has to do with some windows-issues. Thanks anyway.
