Hi Christian,

Everything seems to resize to fit my second monitor except for my Outlook 2003 Mailbox, which runs off the screen.

Other Outlook stuff, like my calendar, resize correctly. Thanks.

Does this happen when you move Outlook to another monitor via UltraMon?

Hi Christian,

Yes. This happens when I move my Mailbox from my laptop to my second monitor via UltraMon,

Thanks again, John

But -- only my mailbox. And only when I have the Reading Pain open and positioned on the right side.
John   2009-01-16 00:23
Finally ... the Reading Pain stays out of proportion on the right even if I open it on my second monitor to start and move it around.

When I have my mailbox open on my laptop, I have the Reading Pain set for the same width as the Mail pain on the left (the one with the folder trees). But, when I move it to my second monitor the Reading Pain goes does to almost nothing instead of stayiong proportionate to the pain on the left. (Vice versa - if I set them the same on the monitor, the Reading Pain is real wide when I move it to my laptop).

So far I haven't been able to reproduce this issue, I tested with UltraMon 3.0.4 and Office 2003 on Windows Vista.

If you're using an earlier version of UltraMon, I would recommend giving the 3.0.4 release a try.

Same result. This would not be the first time my Outlook behaved uniquely.

Thank you.

What's your display configuration? You can get it from UltraMon menu > About.

Unfortunately I don't know what would cause this on your system, I have now tested with a similar configuration (secondary on top of primary), but so far haven't seen the issue.

Thanks.

I'm having trouble getting my desktop icons to stay in place with the new Beta.

I always had to reorganize them and Save them once a week or so. But, now, Save isn't holding them at all (i.e. I try to restore).

Thank you.
Christian Studer   2009-01-22 10:24
That's probably due to something else, not sure what though, no changes were made to the icon position save/restore feature in 3.0.4.
