I am running Vista x64 and have just downloaded and installed Ultramon 3.0.4 Beta. In Outlook 2007 when I open an existing e-mail I have the Outlook Ribbon at the top (Message, etc.). When I create a new e-mail, I have to click on Message in teh toolbar to get the ribbon to display. When I go back to the content, the ribbon rolls back up.

I can't reproduce this issue, I'm also on 64-bit Vista with Outlook 2007. When I create a new mail, the ribbon is expanded, and stays that way also when entering message text.
Does disabling the window buttons for Outlook fix the problem? You can do this via UltraMon Options > Compatibility.

It does not make any difference.

What happens if you disable menu commands and dragging of maximized windows as well?

Found out the problem. For some unknown reason my "New" e-mail option to minimize the ribbon was checked. Once I unchecked that, it came back fine.
Here is a link to the problem solution: http://www.groovypost.com/forum/microsoft-office/outlook-2007-toolbar-disappeared-t95518.html
