The first time (since UltraMon has started running) I open the right click menu it works fine, but the second time the menu won't open and then I get the following error. I get the error 100% of the time as well.
UltraMon encountered a fatal error and will exit.
Version:3.0.4 OS: 6.0.6001 SP1 x32 Source File: MultimonGUI.cpp Line: 3183 Return: 0 Last error: 0

I'll look into this for the next release. This is related to the new window management option on the UltraMon menu, as a workaround you could try if disabling window management under UltraMon Options > Customization fixes the problem.

That appears to have fixed the problem, thanks.

I am getting the same issue under Vista ultimate 32bit dual monitor. I can get the tray menu the first time I try it, but when I try it the second time, It crashes like above. Also Ultramon.exe crashes and UltramonTaskbar.exe stays open. The workaround fixed the issue for me as well.

Another thing that might help with debug: I have a setup that is a little off the norm...I have both taskbars at the top of my monitors (2 22inchers) and I have the Windows main taskbar on the second monitor (not the primary) so I can see tray info during full screen applicaitons that run on the primary display.

For your info: I get the same fatal error, UltraMOn 3.0.4, Windows XP SP3. It hasn't occured until I decided to change the monitor setup and swap monitor 1 and 2.
Disabling window management seems to have fixed the problem for now.
