Hi. I have a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics card on a HP HDX18t. I am trying to setup an external monitor via the HDMI output / into external monitor via DVI. Setup I want is for main screen to be on laptop and then have a "blank canvas" to the left w/my external monitor where I can drop word docs, vids, etc. I'm having a problem getting it so the mouse will actually move off my laptop screen onto the monitor screen. I'm trying all different configs - I know enough to get myself in trouble but far from an expert when it comes to these things. Product looks great - just need some help getting it going.

Changing the monitor arrangement should fix the problem, you can do this via UltraMon menu > Display Settings or Control Panel > Display > Settings.
The monitors need to be arranged the same way they are on your desk.
