I get the following error whenever I try to get the smart taskbar:
UltraMon Taskbar encountered a fatal error and will exit.
More information:
Version: 3.0.4
OS 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 x32

Return value: 0
Last error: 0
I have tried using 2.7.1 and 3.0.2 but the same error occurs.
Any suggestions?

You'll get this error if UltraMon can't install a hook in the main taskbar (explorer.exe).
Do you have any security software installed which might prevent this?

GENIUS!
I suspended ThreatFire, avast! and PC Tools Firewall Plus and it worked fine.

After restarting my computer and coming across the same problem I found out that having PC Tools Firewall Plus enabled whilst UltraMon is starting it causes the error.
