Also another problem I've been having with the latest build is that when I set the Ultramon task bar on the 'same as taskbar' or on the bottom. When I restart the machine, the size doubles and besides enlarged, I have to set it to right/left side, then reset it to same as taskbar/bottom in order to get it back to normal size as the taskbar.

Oh, forgot, this is usually during startup of the machine.

Thanks for the bug report, will be fixed in the next release.
So far I had no problems with the taskbar getting resized, is the main taskbar at the bottom, and how many rows does the UltraMon taskbar have normally?

Usually I set it as 1 row, but when I restart or logoff, and log back it, it starts up as 2 row.

What are your other UltraMon taskbar settings, for example always on top, autohide, etc?
Do you have any toolbars added to the UltraMon taskbar?

Everything is set to same as taskbar, my taskbar is just normal, no auto-hide/always on top.

And no tools on the taskbar either

What theme are you using (Aero, Vista Basic, etc)?

Aero Glass is running.

One thing you could try is to delay UltraMon startup: run regedit.exe, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\<version>, then set the AutoStartDelay value to the number of seconds by which startup should be delayed, I would try 10-20 seconds.

I deceided to delete the Smart Taskbar entry in the Registry, and relaunch Ultramon, and it seems to have fixed it (for now). Might have been something in the settings that I adjusted and just got stuck or screwed up?

It's possible, but at the moment I don't see how this could have happened, usually the taskbar height and screen edge should get saved when you change it.
