I've not been using ultramon long . I have a IBM Thinkpad Z61m running a Radeon Mobility X1400 with 3 gig DDR2 and 2 gig Intel Centrino Duo . Unfortunately in a recent move my usual tower system no longer works so I've placed my Samsung Syncmaster as a secondary monitor on the laptop VGA . When running the mirror gaming doesn't receive the necessary fps . I can use the monitor as a primary through settings in xp but was wondering if it's possible to do the same through ultramon to save switching and having to reset all the parameters everytime . I have tried to set the secondary monitor as primary , suggested in a previous post but the option is always grayed .

Unfortunately UltraMon usually can't change the primary monitor on laptops, you would need to do this via the software for the video card.
