I have a new computer. What do I have to get to be able to hook up the two monitors. A cable splitter, or a graphics card with dual output?

If you want each monitor to display a different image (i.e., give you more space to work), then a splitter would be useless since it would just send the same signal to both monitors. You either need 1 card with 2 outputs or 2 cards. Most cards these days already have 2 outputs.
