Hi all,

I use a Samsung LE19R86BD HD TV to Samsung Q210 Laptop via HDMI

the problem is i have dual view selected and all i see is my background picture, i cant even put the mouse on the tv

under signal format i have 720 hdtv chosen under hdmi connection
the tv says it runs at 1440 x 900 resolution

but if i go to display settings (not in nvidia control) its currently set to 1280 x 720 and if i change to 1440 x 900 i get mode not supported

so the two problems are, i cannot dual view, move mouse onto tv

and i cannot get a decent resolution

any ideas?

Thankyou

Regarding the mouse issue: make sure the monitors are correctly positioned in Display Properties > Settings.

When you tried 1440 x 900 via HDMI, what refresh rate were you using?

yeah i got the mouse issue sorted, i was dragging it the wrong way lol

with the resolution, i have the refresh rate at 60hz yes and soon as i go 1440 x 900 the tv says mode not supported.

if i connect via VGA instead of HDMI i can get 1440 x 900

any ideas?

THanks

No, not really. The manual says that the resolution should work via HDMI, but it does mention a frequency really close to, but very slightly under 60.hz, but I don't know if that is the issue. I also didn't see a firmware update for that set, but I didn't look too hard. I'd contact the manufacturer: Maybe they can tell you how to get it working.
