Hi. I'm enjoying trying out your product (3.0.4B) on a two monitor Vista system and it mostly works great. The problem I'm seeing is that after a reboot, many of my desktop icons, particularly icons that are situated near the periphery of the screen are not in the same location after a reboot. In one case, an icon moves from its usual position on monitor 2, to a strange position on monitor 1. Didn't have that issue prior to installing the product, so I wonder if there's a fix or work-around for it. Pretty annoying to have to rearrange all of my desktop icons every morning! Any thoughts?
Kind Regards, Mike Erwin

Please try if disabling automatic icon positioning fixes the problem, to do this go to UltraMon Options > General and uncheck 'preserve position of desktop icons'.

That seems to have resolved the issue.

I've also had this problem with the 3.0.4Beta version, running on my Vista machine. I've tried 'save desktop icons' several times and from several different areas of the program. But there are just a few that do not want to stay put.
If disabling the feature is the fix, I will try that. But are you working on a real fix?
Thanks

Do you have icons which begin with the same letter(s)? On Vista this can cause problems due to an issue with Vista, currently there's no workaround for this.

I also have noticed that icons that begin with the same letters get switched around, its very frustrating...
