OK. Newbie here. Just intalled Ultramon on my Windows XP system, running 2 monitors. I have 2 questions.
1) On the main monitor that has the Windows Task Bar, can I disable to extra task bar?
2) My monitors are different size, and unfortunately, run different resolutions. Can I specify which monitor a programs starts up in, so that it starts with the proper resolution?
Thank you.

1) to fix this, right-click the UltraMon taskbar and select Close from the menu.
2) UltraMon can move the application to the other monitor, and will also resize the application window if necessary. To set this up, right-click the application's shortcut, select Properties from the menu, then select the UltraMon - Window tab and configure the settings as desired.

1) Thanks a ton. Much easier on the eyes
2) Followed the instructions, did not work. The shortcut points to a RDP window. I have selected "UltraMon-Window", Use custom Settings, Show Normal, ON MONITOR And selected Monitor 2, centered".. But the window still opens on the primary window. Any suggestions? Or, is it because it is an DRP and Windows controls it?
Thank you.

I'm seeing the same problem with .rdp files, the solution seems to be to create a shortcut to mstsc.exe directly, see the post by Greg Brown in this thread for details.
