Forums -> Multiple monitors -> New monitor(bigger than the old), UltaMon wont let the new monitor keep its resolution

Hi.

I've been running two monitors with UltraMon for a while, they have both been 20" with 1680x1050 resolution. Today I switched one of them out for a new 24" monitor with 1920x1200 resolution. Now, heres the problem.

When I only have the 24" enabled, 1920x1200 works great. However, when I enable the 20" which runs on 1680x1050 my 24"'s resolution changes to 1680x1050 and I loose the option to change it to 1920x1200.

Why? And how do I fix this? I think I've tried everything so this is really annoying.. my new monitor looks ugly at 1680x1050.

Seems unlikely that this would be related to UltraMon, maybe the video card just doesn't support a 1920x1200 monitor + a 1680x1050 monitor.

Please check if you still have the problem without UltraMon installed, you can change display settings via Display Properties > Settings.
