Hello,
I have 3 monitors configured as 2-3-1 from left to right. #3 is the primary. When I open a window and put it on #3, the task shows up on the #1 monitor taskbar. If I move it to #2 the window moves to #2 and so does the task. But if I move any window to #3 the task shows up on the taskbar of monitor #1.
In other words, I cannot get any tasks to show up on monitor #3 even if the window is on #3.
Here is my system information (Win XP):
3 monitors
Current desktop: 3072x768 (-1024,0 - 2048,768)
Monitor 1 - Plug and Play Monitor:
Settings: 1024x768, 32-bit color, 75 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 1024,0 - 2048,768. Workspace: 1024,0 - 2048,738
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0
Monitor 2 - Plug and Play Monitor:
Settings: 1024x768, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: -1024,0 - 0,768. Workspace: -1024,0 - 0,738
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor1
Monitor 3 - Plug and Play Monitor (primary):
Settings: 1024x768, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 0,0 - 1024,768. Workspace: 0,0 - 1024,738
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT

Didn't resetting the Smart Taskbar configuration fix the problem?

It did but the problem is back and resetting it again hasn't helped. Thanks

Unfortunately I don't know why resetting the configuration wouldn't fix the problem, one thing you could try is to install the 3.0 beta instead, which won't have this problem because the Smart Taskbar configuration gets adjusted automatically if the location of the main taskbar changes or if monitor numbers change.
