We receive the following error whenever we have UltraMon move Adobe 9 from one screen to the another: Runtime Error! Program: c:\program files\adobe\acrobat 9.0\acrobat\acrobat.exe abnormal program termination
The strange thing is that it only occurs if the program was maximized, if the program was in a window it works fine.
Thanks

Some users reported getting errors when moving the Acrobat window via UltraMon if Acrobat was launched from CCH ProSystem Engagement.
One thing you could try is to enable the alternative move method for Acrobat via UltraMon Options > Compatibility.

Is there any comparable workaround for people that are not using the beta versions? We are still using version 2.7.1 and it doesn’t have the compatibility tab.

Unfortunately no, this option is only available in version 3. I'm not sure though if it will actually fix the problem you're seeing.

That is fine; I will deploy the beta release. I tested your solution and it does seem to fix the problem. This issue is related to Engagement and I was actually surprised that you where aware of this industry specific program. You must have other accounting firms using Ultramon. We have been very pleased with this software.

Is it possible to deploy the above setting changes automatically without manually touching every machine?

Not directly via UltraMon, but if you can deploy registry settings across the network this will work fine.
When you enable this option for an application, a registry key with the name of the application executable gets created under the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon Components\AppCompat, for Acrobat you should see a key named Acrobat.exe. Copying this key to a system will cause UltraMon to use the compatibility setting after the next restart.
