Ok so I need some help.
Just bought this program trying to be able to run a program using my dell laptop and have open up on the secondary monitor. I have tried creating a shortcut and putting it on monitor 2 but the application opens up and runs on the laptop screen 1.
Any ideas
thanks

To set this up, right-click the shortcut, select Properties from the menu, then select the UltraMon - Window tab and configure the settings as desired. Please note that UltraMon may not be able to position all applications.

Ok Christian you obviously aren't dealing with a very bright guy (me) I have read that canned response about similar questions. So do you want me to click on the Icon created by my program I want to open on monitor 2? Cause if I do that there is not a Ultramon tab when I click on properties. The only way that I can get to Ultramon properties is to click on the Ultramon icon in the task bar.
Any ideas. Did I install the program wrong or something?
Thanks
Paul

If you don't have an UltraMon tab under properties for the shortcut, most likely UltraMon can't extend the application's shortcut, this is the case with Office applications for example.

What you could do is create a new shortcut for the application via UltraMon, to do this right-click the UltraMon icon in the system tray and select Shortcuts > New Shortcut from the menu.
