Hello,
I tryed to deinstall ultramon cause I have a problem with it. Deinstall>>ccleaner/tune up 2009 regcleaners>>manual removal off all related ultramon>>>reboot>>ccleaner etc>>>install ultramon again and still the same problem.
So somewhere ultramon also writes stuff I can't find.
All the time when i reboot my computer some shortcuts are replaced on the screen also ultramon makes my 2nd pretty slow i can only solve this by setting my main screen (1680x1050) to the same resolution (1280x1024) It worked perfect till I reinstalled my Vista.

To prevent UltraMon from saving/restoring the position of desktop icons, go to UltraMon Options > General and uncheck 'preserve position of desktop icons'.
What do you mean by slow, for example does the screen get redrawn slowly, or is window movement slow, etc?
Reinstalling UltraMon won't delete your settings, to do this run regedit.exe, then delete the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\<version>.

exactly
and I did remove that key but still somewhere else is stuff left behind. I deleted all that has to do with ultramon in my reg.

Is this when you're using UltraMon's mirroring feature, or in extended desktop mode?
