Hello,

I have ultramon 3.0.2 (3.0 beta 2.1) installed on my system. It took me several hours to get it to behave the way I want.

Computer monitor: Planar 24"
HDTV: 47" HDTV

At login, the computer monitor profile is applied. I press CRTL+2 to switch the display to the HDTV to watch stuff in Media center. I then press CTRL+1 to go back to the computer monitor. I tried setting it up like this on another HTPC but couldn't do it. Where are the settings to get ultramon to treat both monitors as the primary but NOT display on both at the same time but rather, one at a time, like I described above.

More info on my current HTPC set up that I am trying to duplicate on another HTPC.

2 monitors, 1 disabled
Current desktop: 1920x1200 (0,0 - 1920,1200)

Monitor 1 - Generic PnP Monitor (primary):
Settings: 1920x1200, 32-bit color, 59 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 0,0 - 1920,1200. Workspace: 0,0 - 1920,1169
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS
Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0

Monitor 2 - Generic PnP Monitor (disabled):
Settings: 1920x1080, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 0,0 - 1920,1080
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS
Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0

This should work fine with two display profiles, what kind of problems did you experience on the other system?

The easiest way to do this would be to use the ToggleSingleMon script.

Thanks- I will give this a try on my other HTPC set up. The script sounds like the perfect solution for me.

I'll post if successful.
