installed and started using ultramon yesterday with a new monitor. so far everything is great except for firefox.
right now i've got monitor 1 on the right, monitor 2 on the left. when i open firefox it keeps opening up on my secondary monitor (monitor #2).
i can restore down, drag across to my primary monitor, maximize, close, reopen and it opens right back on the secondary (left) window.
if i close ultramon, go in to my display settings, move my primary monitor to the left of my secondary, apply, then move it back to the right of my secondary, apply, close, then reload firefox it will load correctly on the right (primary) screen. if i close firefox then open ultramon now and reopen firefox, it will open in the primary (right) screen normal. but if i move it to the left screen at all and maximize it, it will continue to open in that screen. if i restore down again and just move it to the right (primary) screen and DO NOT maximize then close it, it will reopen on the right (primary) screen.
any help?

You could try using UltraMon to position Firefox, but please note that this will only work with the first Firefox instance.
To set this up, right-click the application's shortcut, select Properties, then select the UltraMon - Window tab.

This is the only way I've found around the issue:
- Launch Firefox so it appears on the second monitor. - Make sure the window is NOT maximized (click "restore") - Drag the Firefox window to the primary monitor but DO NOT maximize - Close Firefox - When you relaunch Firefox will open on primary monitor in non-maximized form. Maximize Firefox. Close.
When you relaunch Firefox it SHOULD open maximized on the primary monitor.

this doesnt help for me. No matter how much time I put firefox back to the correct/first monitor, it will always start up on the wrong/second monitor. This happened after my cat stood on the keyboard whilst working in firefox.
