I'm using trial version of UltraMon. I have a Toshiba Tecra and my second monitor is a Dell 19" (I think 1950) at work, and at home a Samsung. At work I connect the laptop to a Toshiba USB port replicator (which may be the problem child here). When I do, my external monitor often gets pixelated after a while, and then sometimes just turns off (or goes black and in powersave mode) and the display all reverts to the laptop.

Do you know if using the Toshiba Dynadock is causing issues? My trial period expires in 2 days, and I don't want to purchase the software if I can't get it to work properly. You probably need more info, but I don't know what to offer. Thanks!!

Seems unlikely that this would be related to UltraMon, my guess would also be an issue with the dock. To verify this, check if you still have the problem without UltraMon installed.

UltraMon doesn't replace the video card driver, and shouldn't be able to cause problems like this.
