Hi,

I'm running Windows Vista 64Bit.
The Ultramon Icons in Skype are not at the correct position. They are half under the Close- and Maximize-Icon.

I've been able to reproduce the issue with Skype 4.0.0.226 on 32-bit Vista, this is due to the custom window title bar used by Skype.

I'll look into this for the next release, but there's probably no fix for this. As a workaround you could disable the window buttons for Skype via UltraMon Options > Compatibility.

Hello. For the next release, perhaps this info will help the program mini Admin 3 (a server tool for Call of Duty 5 WaW) has exactly the same problem as with skype.

So far I haven't been able to reproduce this issue with miniAdmin 3 (version seems to be 0.862 COD4).

I tested on Vista with UltraMon 3.0.5, with both the Aero and Vista Basic themes, the buttons worked fine in both cases. I just started the application and closed it again for testing, let me know if I need to do anything specific to reproduce the issue.

Thanks,

I have this problem as well and disabled the buttons in Skype. I have Skype 4.1.0.179 running with UltraMon 3.0.8 under 64-bit Win7 Home Premium.

Actually a great way to get round this would be to add the "custom distance" field to the compatibility by application dialog. This way for Skype we could provide a setting that moves the buttons up slightly and to the left. You could even have that as one of the applications in the compatibility list by default, so it works "out of the box"?

Warm regards,

Neil.

I'll consider this, the only problem is that different windows of the application may have different requirements, for example some windows have custom buttons, others don't.

How about adding the ability to add custom spacing on a per application basis?

Something like on Skype add 75 pixels but in some other app add 25 pixels, etc.

The problem is that different windows from the same application may have different requirements, for example the contacts window has an additional button, but the message window doesn't.

BTW, for Skype there's an easy fix for this, go to Options and set Visual Style to Classic Windows.
